It can be found in musical notes, ancient wonders such as the Great Pyramids and the Parthenon, down to our very own DNA. The golden ratio is woven into nature through patterns that form snowflakes, pinecones, shells, flower petals and in the geometry of crystals. Jackie Conlin Website & Logo

Website, Blog and Logo re-design for fashion image consultant Jackie Conlin. The project was aimed to re-design her website, as well as a new logo. The choice was a very simple yet elegant typographic logo, along with casual illustrations along the site. We also designed the blog, which uses a rich eggplant color as a base for the posts. The overall result is an elegant and chic website + blog, along with a clean logo and a visual language that can be extended to any communication needs. Ultimately, we also proposed an Illustration of Jackie herself to be used in the gift certificates. Carine´s Bridal Website Design

Website Design for Carine´s Bridal Atelier, a Washington DC based beautiful Bridal Store by owner Carine Krawiec. The concept we worked for the website was that of the bridal salon itself. Carine´s store is “an oasis, away from high speed life”. Buying a wedding dress is an experience that goes beyond the very purchase, and encompasses attention, detail, comfort and confidence. Integrate the elements of the Bridal Salon into the website, so the visitor can feel as if they are entering a world of day dreaming dressed in designer´s gowns: the world of Carine´s Bridal Atelier. The aesthetic approach used is entitled “Down the Runway”. Walking down the isle is not much different than walking on a runway for a fashion show. Everybody´s eyes are on the bride and on her dress. Everything must be perfect, and she is the star. We combine this feeling with the actual experience of the runway, using visual resources from fashion designers, such as elegant type and stunning photography, to achieve an immersive experience into the website, and making a connection with Carine´s contact and relationship with designers. Amazon Kindle Spain

Campaign design for Amazon Kindle in Spain.   The Strategy. With the goal of positioning Amazon Kindle in Spain, the focus of the communication strategy relays on eliminating the breach between the client and the product, using a strategic alliance with Starbucks Coffee as a place where users can test the Kindle and fall in love with it.   The Concept. The concept of the campaign is based on the claim “Mil puertas, mil mundos, un kindle” (A thousand doors, a thousand worlds, one Kindle). In this way, one of the steps of the strategy consists on launching a contest along with the Starbucks activity, where people are prompted to illustrate their favorite books in the form of “Letrapuertas” (Doorletters). These “Letrapuertas” are the main graphic and the core of all the actions in the campaign.   The Visuals . Each “Letrapuerta” (Doorletter) is a portal into a book. They can be illustrated in any way imaginable, just as readers picture the scenes of a book in their minds. The possibilities are endless. The rest of the graphic is sober and clean. Italophilia Fashion Branding

Branding Design for a fashion boutique specialized in Italian Designers and Italian fashion in general. The very name of the boutique is Centro (Italian for “downtown” or city centre) with the addition of Italy´s international phone number. This relates to the very essence of the brand, which is directed towards clients with italophilia, or the love for everything related to Italy and its culture. The aim of the project was to create a logo and visual language for the boutique that embodies the very feel of Italophilia. We used a very Italian inspired typeface, along with a color palette that resembles the Italian flag.
